Aufgaben:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop, implement, and monitor financial plans, budgets, and forecasts for engineering projects. Analyze variances and performance against budgets and forecasts to provide actionable insights.
  • Cost Management: Oversee cost accounting and ensure the effective management of Engineering costs. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures without compromising quality or performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and KPIs to the Chief Financial Officer and other stakeholders, highlighting key trends, insights, and potential risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, project management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and engineering activities, facilitating clear communication and coordination.
  • Compliance & Procedures: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements in all financial operations and reporting processes within the division.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance financial tools and processes, leveraging technology to improve efficiency and data accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

Anforderungen:

  • Economics or Engineering Degree, with specialization in Supply Chain would be a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial controlling, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
  • knowledge of financial management and accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Onestream is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
  • Familiarity with intercultural communication
  • Ability to work independently and make binding commitments within your responsibilities
